Hufflepuff

Finally Pottermore is available! I've been waiting since last summer, when I first found out about it. My cousin told me they were going to let a few people in for an early screening in October and I should look up the details so what do I do? I completely forget about it until late November and I see my friend's facebook status "I got my email from Pottermore!!!!!! I get to do the early screening." Sigh Caroline will you ever learn.....write everything important down on your hand! Well after waiting 6 more months Pottermore was finally open. Trust me it was worth the wait! It's amazing! Of course I had to find out about it on a school night but I wouldn't let myself go to bed until I got to the chapter that sorted me into my house. Finally after about an hour of playing (it takes me forever to figure out video games XD) I had arrived at Chapter 7. I quickly took the quiz and I got....Hufflepuff.

The first thought that entered my head was this youtube video.

I was hoping for Ravenclaw or Gryffindor and kind of sad about being a Hufflepuff  but after I read the letter that came with the quiz I was like yeaaa Hufflepuff all day! I found a Tumblr picture that described how I felt perfectly.

Hufflepuff also has a badger as it's animal and let's face it honey badgers are pretty badass ;).
So right now I feel pretty awesome about being a Hufflepuff and I don't know why I was upset about it in the first place.

So do any of you have Pottermore? If you do add me....BronzeUnicorn9673.
Also what house did you guys get?

My Birthday!

Hey everyone! How was every one's Easter? Mine was pretty good except my sister ate a bit too much candy and got extremely hyper :/. That wasn't fun. I didn't do much for Easter actually all I did was sit in my room mess around on my laptop(I just got my own laptop for my birthday!), text people, and read for like 6 hours straight. Living the dream! Oh yea and on Thursday I got more books! Some from the library and some from the book store. I didn't have any time to take pictures so I'm just going to get them from the Internet.
~~~~
The first one I got was from the library and it is called City of Bones.
City of Bones
By Cassandra Clare
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder -- much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know. . . .
I loved this book! I couldn't put it down! I finished it I swear in 2 days! I loved the adventure and my favorite character was Simom. The one thing I didn't like about this book is the romance between Jace and Clary that got old pretty fast. But that's just me.
The next book I got is the second Mortal Instruments Book...City of Ashes.
City of Ashes
By Cassandra Clare
City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2)
Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and faeries? If Clary left the world of the Shadowhunters behind, it would mean more time with her best friend, Simon, who's becoming more than a friend. But the Shadowhunting world isn't ready to let her go — especially her handsome, infuriating, newfound brother, Jace. And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably insane, certainly evil — and also her father.
To complicate matters, someone in New York City is murdering Downworlder children. Is Valentine behind the killings — and if he is, what is he trying to do? When the second of the Mortal Instruments, the Soul-Sword, is stolen, the terrifying Inquisitor arrives to investigate and zooms right in on Jace. How can Clary stop Valentine if Jace is willing to betray everything he believes in to help their father?
I liked this book but it wasn't my favorite. I find that what happens between two characters is rather gross. If you've read the book you'll understand what I'm saying but I'm not going to spoil it for you.
The last book I got I ordered online a few weeks ago and it finally came! I've been waiting for ages for this book.
Fear
By Michael Grant
Fear (Gone, #5)
It's been one year since all the adults disappeared. Gone.
Despite the hunger and the lies, even despite the plague, the kids of Perdido Beach are determined to survive. Creeping into the tenuous new world they've built, though, is perhaps the worst incarnation yet of the enemy known as the Darkness: fear.
Within the FAYZ, life breaks down while the Darkness takes over, literally—turning the dome-world of the FAYZ entirely black. In darkness, the worst fears of all emerge, and the cruelest of intentions are carried out. But even in their darkest moments, the inhabitants of the FAYZ maintain a will to survive and a desire to take care of the others in their ravaged band that endures, no matter what the cost.
Fear, Michael Grant's fifth book in the bestselling dystopian Gone series, will thrill readers . . . even as it terrifies them.
This is the 5th book in the series and I'm not done reading it yet but if it's at all like the other book I know I'll love it.
Sorry I just realized this post is beyond long if your still reading thank you! I just wanted to tell you that I got laptop and a Captain America Shirt for my Birthday! I love my laptop!
Books are a girls best friend.
Well first off Happy Spring Break (America Only)! My spring break has been pretty relaxing so far. On Friday I ordered some books from Barns and Noble and they came today!!(I did my happy book dance) I am very excited(who wouldn't be). Since I'm not doing anything special over spring break I'll probably be reading the whole time. Which isn't a bad thing. I'm extremely behind on my reading. I want to read 300 and I've only read 19....I don't think that's happening. Anywho ;))) yesterday I was at Target and I saw this Owl Bag and I flipped out. I told my mom I had to have it or I would die so after much negotiating. I am now the proud owner of this bag, and all I have to do do the dishes every night this week. Totally worth it.
Sorry I got off topic back to books. I got 5 books so far and there are still 2 coming. :D Here are some pictures I took of them. Sorry the quality isn't that great my camera is a bit old.
Here are all the books together.
 Here is my first book. I'm reading it now and so far it's amazing!
The Death Cure
By James Dashner
It's the last book in the Maze Runner Trilogy.
Thomas knows that Wicked can't be trusted, but they say the time for lies is over, that they've collected all they can from the Trials and now must rely on the Gladers, with full memories restored, to help them with their ultimate mission. It's up to the Gladers to complete the blueprint for the cure to the Flare with a final voluntary test.
What Wicked doesn't know is that something's happened that no Trial or Variable could have foreseen. Thomas has remembered far more than they think. And he knows that he can't believe a word of what Wicked says.
The time for lies is over. But the truth is more dangerous than Thomas could ever imagine.
Will anyone survive the Death Cure?
The Limit
By Kristen Landon
An eighth grade girl was taken today . . . With this first sentence, readers are immediately thrust into a fast-paced thriller that doesn't let up for a moment.
In a world not too far removed from our own, kids are being taken away to special workhouses if their families exceed the monthly debt limit imposed by the government. Thirteen-year-old Matt briefly wonders if he might be next, but quickly dismisses the thought. After all, his parents are financially responsible, unlike the parents of those other kids. As long as his parents remain within their limit, the government will be satisfied and leave them alone. But all it takes is one fatal visit to the store to push Matt’s family over their limit—and to change his reality forever.
Kristen Landon's The Limit brings the popular dystopian thriller genre to a middle grade audience.
I heard this book was amazing. I can't wait to read it.
Matched
By Ally Condie
Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate... until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.
The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.
Another book that sounds amazing and I've heard so many wonderful things about.
The Future of Us
By
Another one that sounds amazing. I can't wait to read.
Every Other Day
By Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Every other day, Kali D'Angelo is a normal sixteen-year-old girl. She goes to public high school. She attends pep rallies. She's human.
And then every day in between . . .She's something else entirely.
Though she still looks like herself, every twenty-four hours predatory instincts take over and Kali becomes a feared demon-hunter with the undeniable urge to hunt, trap, and kill zombies, hellhounds, and other supernatural creatures. Kali has no idea why she is the way she is, but she gives in to instinct anyway. Even though the government considers it environmental terrorism.
If you've read any of these books commont below with what you thought of them :D Hope everyone has a wonderful spring break!
