Finally a Book Review

Hello my lovely followers! Sorry I didn't post this week I had girl scout camp. I was a P.A (Program Aide) for the Preschoolers. Man did they have a lot of energy! I would come home ever day and fall asleep and blogging wouldn't even come to mind. Yesterday was the last day so I have finally have time to post. In this post I am going to be talking about two things...News and a book review, haven't done one of those in a while.

News: This week my friend Tayler called me this week and she asked what I was doing this July. I said nothing because you know I have no life. Anyways she said her sister wouldn't be able to come to Disney World with her because her sister couldn't come. I said Yesx100!! I was able to quickly convince my parents that I should go all I have to do is pay for my flight. So I AM GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!

Book Review: Last week I was able to read a series called Chasing Yesterday. It consists of 3 books.
1. Awakening 2. Betrayal 3. Truth
This series is a bit young for me I was able to finish each book in one sitting but they were all very enjoyable reads.

Some things are too painful to remember--and too deadly to forget.

Found: One girl, age 13. Unconscious. Unharmed. Unclaimed. Unidentified.

Lost: Everything.

In each book we're following J.D a girl who has woken up at the site of a major explosion with no idea who she is or what has happened. She meets a boy Daniel who believes there is more to her story. The story grows and you go deeper into the mystery of who J.D really is in each book. I highly recommend these books!
Age Group: 10-14
Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5 for the whole series
Awakening (Chasing Yesterday, #1)Betrayal (Chasing Yesterday, #2)Truth (Chasing Yesterday, #3)

****This week I'm going to try something new, called Song of the Week. So scroll down to the bottom of the page every week to see my favorite song of the week!

Thanks for reading!

Grimm

Hello my followers! Since it's summer now I'll be able to post more. So here's my second post of the week. I realized I haven't done an opinion post in a while. My blog blog is called Caroline's Clever Concepts and the Concepts means opinions. So I have been failing at my job but that ends now. I'm here today to talk about my favorite show, Grimm. Now it takes a lot for me to love love a show but this show has done it.

Grimm is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm's Fairy Tales.Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli, "Turn The Beat Around") discovers he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as "Grimms," charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world.
As he tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from his girlfriend, Juliette Silverton, (Bitsie Tulloch, "quarterlife"), and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby, "Lincoln Heights"), he becomes ever more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world.
With help from his confidant, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell, "Prison Break"), a reformed Grimm creature himself, Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils, including royal lines dating back to the original profilers themselves, The Grimm Brothers. Reggie Lee ("Persons Unknown") and Sasha Roiz ("Caprica") also star.

Each episode of this show is unique which is hard to find on t.v nowadays. It's full of action, mystery, and even a little romance. Which I usually hate but in this show it flows nicely with the story plot. There are many characters in Grimm and they are all important to the plat of the storey. These are the 6 most important in my opinion.

David Giuntoli plays Nick Burkhardt

Bitsie Tulloch plays Juliette Silverton

Silas Weir Mitchell plays Eddie Monroe (my favorite character)

Russell Hornsby plays Hank Griffin

Sasha Roiz plays Captain Sean Renard

Reggie Lee plays Sgt. Wu

All the episodes of the first season are available online. Here's the link to the pilot episode if you would like to watch it.

Everyone should check out this show!

Busy Bee

Hello my lovely followers! I'm sorry I meant to post earlier this week but I've been so busy. Sunday night was the Foster the People concert. Monday was an award ceremony thing for school. Tuesday was another thing for school. Wednesday was band practice (My band has there first gig on Friday so nervous :)). Thursday was the school dance(Fun night I got flowers and everything) and last night was my very late birthday/end of the year party. So yes very busy and to top it off I've been fighting a cold all week and it finally caught up with me today. So I got to spend my first day of summer sick. Oh well I caught up on sleep. Anyways this post is going to be full of pictures.
The first ones are of the Foster the People Concert. My friend and I got a little excited and I took about a 100 pictures so I'm only going to post my favorites.

This is my best friend Rihaana. She's who I went to the concert with and these are the shirts we got. I love them soo much!

I love love love this picture! He is such a talented drummer!

There was this cool face that kept changing throughout the whole concert. It smiled, winked, frowned, laughed, and alot other faces. It was awesome.

Here he is singing.

Here's the whole band walking off stage.

Next here are some pictures from my award ceremony, dance, and other things that happened this week. My friend Tayler took about 300 pictures of all of us this week since were all going to different schools next year.

This is Me, Scott, Josh, Rihaana, and Tayler at the award ceremony thing on Monday.

This is Me, Brittany, and Tayler on the last day of school. Love this picture.

Me and Rihaana before the dance. Both of our mom's wanted pictures. They took way to many it took forever.

Me and Scott were slow dancing and everyone decided to take pictures. I still like this picture even though I look like crap.

I love my face in this picture every time I look at it I laugh. I was sick and brought Gatorade to school and Josh was thirsty and decided to take it and I told him find go ahead and get sick. So that's why I made the weird face.

I'm sorry I put up so many pictures and thank you if you actually read this whole post. I promise the next post will be more interesting.

Until the pig flys.
