After much thought I have decided to try and go back to being a vegetarian. I'm only going to try though so if I go back to eating meat don't judge me but I don't think I will. I was a vegetarian for 5 years and I had to give it up because I wasn't eating enough protein, but I googled different types of protein and lots of results came up. I'm going to try soy, tofu, and lots of other things. The only catch is a really hate beans. Hopefully I can either overcome my hatred of beans or found another type of protein. Another reason I'm going to become a vegetarian again is because I learned how chickens are killed to make chicken nuggets and other types of chicken products. It's inhumane how people do it! I'll spare details in this post but I think everyone should look in up. It's one of the most terrible things I've ever seen or heard. I am never going to look at chicken the same way. :( I just feel terrible for those poor animals. I found a blog today and the author of the blog is a vegetarian and she had this amazing blog button that I just love! Everyone should really check out her blog, My Rainbow Veins.
Isn't it just the cutest thing? I really hope I can follow through on this. It's going to be a big change, but hey sometimes change is a good thing.
***Also click on the button on the side of my blog called The Animal Rescue Site. Every day you have an opportunity to help animals. Please please please click on that button. It doesn't have to be everyday once a week, once a month, even once would help.
Thank you for listening to me rant.

Oh yea and this week's Song of the Week is Colours By Grouplove. Enjoy!
i'm a pescetarian, and i have been for about a year now. i find that Quorn is excellent - it's practically my lifeline! it's mycoprotein (which is to do with genetic engineering and not as gross as it sounds - ask your biology teacher) and high in protein and low in fat. good luck with it! :D
Thats great!! I am a vegitarian and have been my whole life. In fact i have never eaten a piece of meat. anna http://chicchickscloset.blogspot.com/ btw: I have never had the flu and i rarely get common colds;)
I was vegetarian off and on all through college, but last year I decided to go vegetarian for good. Like you already said, I don;t even miss meat that much (occasionally I have a hankering for sushi).
If you still have a hard time with beans and certain vegetables, I've found that the easiest way to start on them is by throwing them into soup a little at a time. You get used to the new flavor more easily, I think. Lentils make amazing soup :)

I don't eat much meat as it is. I hate ham and cheese bugars and steak. I only liked chicken really.
DeleteYay go you! I have always wanted to be a vegetarian or vegan, but my mom says not until I'm done growing. But good luck!
