Movie Review: The Amazing Spider Man

Today or now I guess it would be Yesterday now I saw The Amazing Spider Man. I was really really looking forward to this movie because it was supposed to be more like the comics. I don't read the comics but my boy friend does and he was explaining them to me and they sounded really cool! So of course I walk into the theater excepting to be blown away and I just wasn't. It's not that is was bad it just wasn't Amazing! I mean if your going to put amazing in the title I except this to be one of the best movies I've seen. I guess it also didn't help that the last superhero movie I saw was Avengers. Which by the way one of the best movies I've seen in my life.
I'm not going to give away any of the story line in case any of you would still like to go see it but here is what I thought overall. I thought some of the scenes where he(Spider man) was swinging threw the city were a bit to long. It felt like it was taking him an hour to get from one place to another. I also didn't like how fast he(Spider man) and Gwen Stacy(his girlfriend or well I guess it would be Peter Parker's girlfriend) were getting together. I mean they been going out a week and they already can't live without each other. Then the ending. Oh that made me my very mad. It might just be me and my hatred of romance movies though. The last thing I didn't like is that the writers promised they would answer more questions about Peter's dad and they didn't. Not one question I had was answered. That also made me kind of upset. But overall once you get past those 3 things it was an okay movie. 3/5 stars.

  5. Oh my goodness I LOVED that movie! I'm not a comic-y person but I have always loved Spiderman and hes always been my favorite. This on I felt was the best spiderman movie, I heard everyone say it was most like the comics. Me, personally I wish they went more into Peters Dad at the end, even though I loved the ending ;) excuse me for saying Andrew Garfield is so cute. I thought he was great at spiderman and the whole "alter ego" thing. I saw it at a drive in, and there were a lot of little kids there too, like seriously?
